How to transplant threaded iron

Threaded Iron Band Root Transplant

When transplanting thread iron, one method is to transplant it with the roots. When transplanting thread iron with roots, it is best to bring some old soil, which can increase the survival rate of the transplant. There will also be some rhizobia on the roots, which will help the plant to resume growth quickly.

When transplanting with roots, take out the threaded iron plant and transplant it into a new pot.

Thread iron rootless transplant

In fact, when transplanting thread iron, there is also a way to grow it without roots. This type of transplantation actually involves removing the roots of the whorl iron and transplanting only the plant part.

When cultivating, the plants without roots of the thread iron need to be dried in the sun for a few days, usually 2 to 5 days. After drying in the sun, the wounds of the thread iron will heal. At this time, you can insert it into relatively clean sand to let it take root. When the roots grow out, you can transplant it.

The whorl iron that has grown new roots can be transplanted into new nutrient soil. In the early stage, there is no need to fertilize it. Just place it in a sunny place and water it thoroughly. From then on, do not water unless the soil is dry, and water thoroughly when you do.

After the thread iron slowly begins to survive and grows for a period of time, you can slowly resume normal management. Gradually resume fertilizing, and be careful to apply fertilizer thinly and frequently.
