How to deal with daffodils after they bloom

Flower treatment

Daffodils are actually one of the easiest types of daffodils to reproduce. They are not as difficult to manipulate as narcissus and hyacinths. For daffodils, you need to process the flowers and then grow the bulbs.

After the daffodils have bloomed, the most important thing is to cut off the withered flowers, but the leaves on the entire plant should be retained.

Ball cultivation

After the daffodils bloom, they need to be cared for. If their leaves are still green, they need to be cared for normally and do not dig them out. Just water and fertilize normally and let it continue to grow.

Other maintenance methods

In addition to caring for the bulbs, other measures can be taken after the daffodils bloom. One is to maintain it in the pot without pilling, and the other is to preserve it after pilling.

If the daffodils do not form bulbs, just leave them in the pot. Basically, when the weather gradually gets warmer, the leaves will turn yellow. At this time, you can stop watering them and place them in a ventilated and cool place to keep them moisturized. Wait until after October, when the temperature drops, then resume watering.

The second step is bulb care, which is to dig out the bulbs and preserve them after the leaves of the daffodils have completely withered. You can wrap the bulbs in newspapers and store them in a ventilated and cool place, and then plant them in October of the following year.

It should be noted that although daffodils can bloom again, the flowers are more likely to degenerate, and the flowers may be small or few in number.
