When does Begonia bloom?

The flowering period of Begonia is actually related to its breeding time. Generally, if Begonia is sown between July and January, it will bloom between October and May. If the Begonia is sown in February to April, it will bloom in June to July.

How to regulate the flowering period of Begonia

The flowering period of Begonia can actually be controlled, but it requires some tips.

The first thing to do is to determine the flowering period you want. If the Begonia is to bloom on New Year's Day, you can take cuttings in mid-April and transplant them in mid-September.

If you want the Begonia to bloom during the Spring Festival, you can sow it in mid-August. It takes about 140 to 160 days from sowing to flowering. You can maintain it in the open field in mid-October and plant it in pots in November.

If you want the Begonia to bloom during the May Day holiday, you can sow seeds in mid-October, take cuttings in mid-to-early December, and transplant them in late February. When caring for Begonia, you need to protect it from the cold. Appropriate use of some growth inhibitors can promote flowering.
