How often to repot

When growing money tree, change the pot in time, it will grow better. But how often should the pot of the money bag be changed?

Generally, the money vine needs to be repotted every 2 to 3 years. Because it has grown for 2 to 3 years, repotting it in a pot that is too small will limit its growth, and the nutrients in the soil in the pot will also be exhausted. Therefore, you can change the pot at this time.

How to change the pot

How should you change the pot when growing money tree?

The first step is to take out the money bag plant. Gently tap the bottom of the flowerpot to separate the soil ball and the flowerpot, then slowly take out the plant. You can remove some of the old soil from the money bag and then replace it with a new pot and new soil.

The flower pot can be selected according to the growth conditions of the money tree, basically it should meet the needs of further growth of the money tree. The soil generally has good drainage and air permeability, and should be fertile. You can use leaf mold plus river sand, mixed with some rotted chicken manure as base fertilizer. After filling the flowerpot with new soil, you can slowly place the money bag into the flowerpot and then fill it with soil.

Precautions

After repotting the money cypress, be careful not to rush to water it. The root system of the money cypress may be damaged when repotting. It is better to wait until the wound heals before watering.

When growing money plants, it is best to place them in a place with scattered light indoors.
