The green radish grew wildly after being half planted in soil and half planted in water

Green radish half soil and half water

Step 1

Use a sterilized blade or scissors to cut several sections of the green radish branches.

Step 2

Cut the longer green radish branches into sections, each section is about 10-15cm, keep the top 2-3 leaves, and remove the excess leaves at the bottom.

Step 3

Soak the cut branches in a diluted carbendazim solution for 2-3 minutes. After soaking, take out the branches and place them in a well-lit and ventilated place to dry.

Step 4

Prepare a fish tank or a flower pot without a water outlet at the bottom, pour some soil into the bottom. It is best to mix some sand into the soil. The thickness of the soil should be about 1/3 of the height of the pot.

Step 5

After pouring the soil, pour clean water into the pot. The water level should be about 2/3 of the pot height.

Step 6

After pouring the soil and water, insert the green radish branches vertically into the soil at the bottom, ensuring that the lower part of the branch is in the soil, the middle part is in the water, the upper part is in the air, and the leaves are also in the air.

Step 7

The half-soil and half-water green radish that has just been grafted should be placed in a well-lit and ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight.

Step 8

The later maintenance process of the half-soil and half-water green radish is particularly worry-free. As long as there is water in the pot, you don’t have to worry about it. If there is no water, just pour water into it. You can sprinkle a few grains of slow-release fertilizer into the pot every 2 weeks, and the pot will be full of life in 1-2 months.

It is actually not difficult to grow green ivy in half soil and half water. It can grow fast and be lush and green. Flower lovers can give it a try!
