Preparation before leaf cutting of female chicks

Soil: Choose soil with good air permeability and water retention. If conditions permit, you can buy some Akadama soil or vermiculite to increase the survival rate of leaf cuttings.

Small watering can: Leaf cuttings must maintain a high humidity. It is easiest to do cuttings in a greenhouse. Therefore, to create a greenhouse atmosphere, you need to water and moisturize frequently.

Knife: Leaf cuttings are usually done by breaking off leaves directly from the mother plant, or cutting them with a knife, so a sharp knife is a must, but it is best to disinfect it before use.

Female Chick: This is not a must. You can buy a few leaves online, or break off a few leaves from a friend. You can also start from scratch and grow succulents.

I won’t go into detail about the tedious steps of adding soil. Just wet the prepared soil or pure vermiculite or Akadama soil with water first. Set aside.

Then break off the dried leaves and lay them flat on the soil, done.

All that's left is to spray water every day. Don't turn the leaves around at will. They will slowly take root, and will take root in as fast as a week.

After taking root, bury the roots in the soil to allow them to absorb nutrients, and soon many small buds will grow. Look forward to it!
