How to keep the lucky charm in winter

How to keep the lucky charm in winter

Many flower lovers like to grow a pot of lucky charm at home. It is easy to maintain and has an auspicious name. But winter is a time to test its strength. If you are not careful, it will freeze to death. Let us look at the maintenance methods of Hongyuan Dangtou in winter.

Fill Light

Move the "Lucky Plant" outdoors during the day, especially the blooming Lucky Plant, because sunlight can make the flower redder. If there is insufficient light, the flower will become paler and paler, and it will almost stop being a flower and look like a tree. After about a week of exposure to the sun, the leaves slowly turned red.

Watering

Normally, water the plant once a week. Watering is also very particular. Pay special attention not to water the roots, as that can easily cause root rot. The watering method for lucky charm is different from that for other flowers. You should start from the top and the water will gather at the bottom of the leaves. This way the water can be preserved and absorbed by the flowers instead of the roots. After about 7 days, when the water dries up, water it again. Don’t water it all the time, especially in winter. Water it once every 10-15 days because the temperature is too low and it is easy to freeze to death!

Insulation

The temperature in the north is low, so you should pay special attention to keeping warm. You can move the flowers to the balcony indoors to avoid the low temperature affecting the normal growth of the flowers. Another easy way is to put a plastic bag on the plant at night, which is very effective.

Wipe the leaves

Another thing is to wipe the leaves clean frequently. Look at the pictures I took, there is a lot of dust on the leaves. Whenever it rains, I will take it out to expose it to the rain. It’s mainly because I’m lazy, but this method is still very good. Isn’t the color much better looking?
