What to do if the leaves of tiger plant are rotten

What to do if the leaves of tiger plant are rotten

1. Lighting

We need to keep it indoors in the winter, but if we don't take good care of it, it is easy for some parts of it to rot or even the whole plant to rot. At this time, we must control the light. Although its tolerance is relatively good, we must put it in a location with more sunlight. Only with more light can it remain vigorous and its tolerance to cold will be enhanced, so that the leaves will not rot too much.

2. Watering

Because watering can cause its leaves to rot, we need to control this variable. Generally speaking, if you water too much, the leaves will rot even if the temperature is very high. So don't water casually in winter. Wait until the soil is dry before watering. If the temperature is relatively low, we can water it once every ten days. If the temperature is relatively high, we can water it once every seven to ten days. Generally, the amount of water you use does not need to be too much, as long as it can penetrate into the bottom of the pot. You must not water too much, and it doesn’t matter if the amount is small. In addition, if it is winter, we should use water at about 20 degrees, because it is more intolerant to the cold, but if the temperature is higher, we must remember not to dry it out.

3. Processing

If the leaves are obviously rotten, we can remove the healthy leaves, dry them, and then insert them into the soil. After watering them once, put them in a place with relatively high temperature, and then they will grow roots.
