The durian tree is a tropical tree that is suitable for growing in a high temperature environment. The suitable growth temperature is around 25~30℃, and the best daily average temperature in the planting area is above 22℃. It cannot grow in cold areas and needs to be planted in areas without frost all year round. The temperature should not be lower than 10℃. If the temperature is too low, it will stop growing or even freeze to death. Therefore, it is generally planted in southern regions, such as Hainan, Yunnan and other regions. It cannot be planted in northern regions.

2. Planting Method

1. Time selection: Choose the right time for planting. October and November each year are the best time for planting. The survival rate is higher at this time, and the time to wait for maturity to go on the market is also suitable.

2. Collect seeds: When the durian is ripe, take out the ripe seeds from it. It should be plump, full, relatively healthy and free from diseases and pests.

3. Process the seeds: Because the shell is relatively hard, you should wash and remove the outer flesh in advance, and then soak them in warm water to absorb moisture. This will soften the skin and promote germination.

4. Land preparation and fertilization: Prepare the soil for planting and make sure it is loose, breathable, and rich in nutrients. Do not plant in low-lying areas with compacted soil.

5. Sowing: Sow the seeds at a certain distance and cover them with soil.

6. Management and planting: After the seedlings grow out after planting, pay attention to weeding and then carry out planting.
