Magnolia cultivation method

Magnolia cultivation method

1. Cultivation Methods

1. Substrate: Before cultivation, suitable cultivation substrate should be prepared in advance. Magnolia's requirements for the growing medium are that it should be soft, breathable, and contain rich humus.

2. Preparation: The seeds used for cultivation must be mature, and their seed coats must be wiped off with wood ash and stored in sand. Or you can bury the seeds in the soil in layers, take them out and wash them after half a month, store them in sand after drying, and sow them in spring.

3. Sowing: Sow the seeds in the soil after entering spring, and they will germinate in less than a month. As it grows for a period of time, it will become a seedling and need to be transplanted after it survives.

4. Transplanting: When transplanting, you need to apply base fertilizer in the transplanting site first. The root position of the plant seedlings should be covered with old soil, and its root system should not be damaged. Finally, just plant and water it.

2. Precautions

There must be sufficient nutrients during the cultivation period, so some organic fertilizer should be added to the soil. It should be noted that fertilizer should be used in low concentration and the amount applied should not be too much, as it may easily burn the small roots of the plant.
