Introduction to Tiger Pilan, Flower Language of Tiger Pilan

1. Family

Tiger skin orchid is a perennial plant belonging to the Liliaceae family and the genus Sansevieria. It is a herbaceous plant. In addition to this name, it is also called tiger tail orchid and thousand-year orchid. It is now cultivated in various parts of my country and is a very common foliage plant.

2. Form

The height of the entire plant of Tiger Piranha can reach about 1 meter. The rhizome underneath grows in a creeping manner. The leaves are distributed at the base, with several leaves growing upright. They are hard leathery and relatively flat. The length is about 30-70 cm and the width is about 3-5 cm. The leaves have white and green textures and are slightly covered with white powder. Although Sansevieria does not bloom often, it can bloom. The flowering period is in summer. The flowers are racemes, white to light green in color, and have a slight fragrance.

3. Habits

Tiger Piranha has strong adaptability and strong growth ability. It is not very demanding on soil. It is best to provide sandy loam with good drainage, breathability and looseness. It likes warmth, and the suitable temperature for its growth can be maintained at around 15-25 degrees Celsius, and the temperature in winter should be above 10 degrees Celsius.

Tiger Piranha can be propagated by division and cuttings, and both methods have relatively high survival rates.

5. Flower Language

The leaves of Sansevieria are upright and firm, and its flower language means firmness and fortitude.
