How to grow purple violet

How to grow purple violet

1. Soil

Purple violet is suitable for growing in soil with medium fertility and good drainage at an altitude of 100 to 1,500 meters. Do not crop continuously, otherwise it will lead to variety degeneration.

2. Lighting

The length of sunlight exposure should be ensured every day. Avoid strong sunlight during seedling cultivation, otherwise it will easily lead to hard stems and leaves of the plants and poor quality of flowers. It is best to choose a well-ventilated location where it can see light all year round, and it can be cultivated in a greenhouse.

3. Temperature

Its optimal growth temperature is 18-22℃. During the high temperature period in summer, you should take precautions to avoid the heat and avoid being exposed to high temperature and sun for a long time.

4. Watering

It grows best in a relatively humid environment. After planting, water should be poured several times continuously to allow the seedlings to grow slowly and keep the surrounding air moist. However, watering should be moderate, and preparations should be made for drainage and waterlogging prevention to prevent root rot and death.

5. Fertilization

Thin fertilizers should be applied frequently, and 500 times compound water-fertilizer and 500 times urea diluted solution can be applied at intervals during the growing period. After the initial flowering period, only apply one thousand times potassium dihydrogen phosphate and compound fertilizer.

6. Notes

1. Pay attention to the prevention and control of diseases and insects. During the period of high insect pests in spring and autumn, you can irrigate the roots with 1000 times diluted 80% dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane every 5-7 days. Repeating 2-3 times can be effective in preventing and controlling pests. Attention should be paid to ventilation, otherwise the probability of disease and excessive growth will increase.

2. The weeds around it should be cleaned regularly. If not cleaned in time, it is easy to cause root disorder and slow growth.
