1. Different varieties

Nasturtium is also known as golden lotus, cold lotus, golden lotus, and drought lotus. It is a plant of the genus Nasturtium in the Tropaeolum family. The stems are generally hairless or have a small amount of sparse fine hairs.

Mirror grass is not very similar to the former, nor is it the same plant. It is also called green screen grass and golden thread grass. It belongs to the Urticaceae family. It has rhizomes underneath, the stems are relatively upright, and there are no branches on top. The height is about 2-13 cm.

2. Different leaves

The leaves of nasturtium are slightly fleshy, nearly round in shape, about 3-10 cm in diameter, and have 9 main veins on the leaf surface. The texture looks very obvious, with wavy and shallow cracks on the leaf edges and sparse hairs on the back of the leaves.

The leaves of mirror grass are fleshy and relatively thick, but they become papery when they are very dry. The shape is nearly round or oval, about 2.5-9 cm long and about 2-8 cm wide. The texture on the leaf surface is not very obvious, the leaf edge is entire, or has a slightly wavy notch.

3. Different flowers

The flowers of nasturtium are relatively large, with a diameter of about 2.5-6 cm, and come in a variety of colors, including yellow, orange, purple, etc.

The flowers of mirror grass are small, fleshy inflorescences, and light yellow in color.
