Difference Between Oleander and Peach Tree

1. Different varieties

The leaves of oleander are just more like those of peach trees, so it is called this, but in fact it has little to do with peach trees, and the two are not the same tree species at all. It is a plant belonging to the Apocynaceae family. It is a tall shrub with a maximum height of about 5 meters and is evergreen all year round. It is also highly toxic and may directly cause death, so be careful to avoid it in your life.

Peach tree is a common fruit-bearing tree belonging to the Rosaceae family and the subgenus Persica. It is a deciduous tree that sheds its leaves in autumn and winter. The outer bark is black and it can grow to about 8 meters. It is also non-toxic and can be grown with confidence.

The flowers of oleander are generally deep red or pink, and with artificial cultivation they appear white or yellow.

The flowers of the peach tree are pink and obovate or oblong-ovate in shape.

3. Different fruits

It is generally difficult for oleander to bear fruit, and even if it does, it is in the form of capsules and has no edible value.

Peach trees can bear fruits, namely peaches, which are pink in color and have a relatively thick texture.
