1. Soil: Its maintenance environment needs to have moderate shade. The soil is required to be loose and fertile. It is best to choose relatively acidic soil with good drainage. For water management of red spider lily, it is required to keep the soil in the maintenance environment slightly moist and not too dry.

2. Watering: According to the habit of red spider lily that it likes slightly acidic water, the water quality chosen can be naturally collected rainwater, or you can use 3% acidic solution for irrigation, which can improve the acidity of the soil and provide certain nutrients. Red spider lily likes moisture and is also drought-resistant. The soil only needs to be slightly moist. It is usually watered once a day at 10 a.m. Do not allow water to accumulate, otherwise the bulb will rot.

3. Temperature: In many areas in the north, the temperature in winter is below zero, but too low a temperature will affect the normal growth of the red spider lily, so in winter you can move the red spider lily indoors, as long as the growth environment of the red spider lily is above 5 degrees.

4. Light: It can grow on hillsides and roadsides and does not require too much sunlight.

5. Fertilization: It generally absorbs nutrients from the soil. If nutrient soil is used, no fertilization is needed.

2. How to reproduce

1. Bulb division method: Bulb division method is the simplest way of propagation. Dig out the plant after flowering or when it is dormant, and plant the daughter bulbs next to the mother bulb separately. It will bloom in about 1-2 years.

2. Sowing method: Since its seeds have no dormancy, they should be sown immediately after collecting. The radicle can be seen after 15 days at 20℃. In a natural environment, it takes about 4 to 5 years from planting to flowering.
