How to identify yellow crane orchid

1. Blades

The yellow crane orchid has 4 to 6 leaves, which grow very closely and alternately on the upper part of the pseudobulb, and usually have yellow spots. Its shape is oblong or elliptical-lanceolate, and its length is longer than 25cm. Its apex is acuminate or acute and both sides of the leaf are glabrous.

2. Flowers

The flowers of the yellow crane orchid are lemon yellow, upward-raised, and the petals are oblong-oblanceolate, very close in length to the sepals, with relatively blunt tips and no hair. It usually blooms between April and October. The pollen is egg-shaped and about 2mm long.
