1. RhizomeThe roots of Wenzhousu are relatively short and thick, about 21-35 cm long and about 0.5-1 cm in diameter. The base is thicker than the front end of the root and has no branches. Its pseudobulb is not obvious, oval, about 1.4-1.8 cm high and 0.8-1.3 cm in diameter. 2. LeavesThe leaves of Wenzhousu grow in clusters of 5-8, are thin leathery, narrow and ribbon-shaped, about 30-140 cm long and 0.6-1.3 cm wide. The base is usually folded in half, the upper part is slightly curved, the midrib is more obvious, translucent, the edges have coarse serrations, the surface is rough, the middle and lower parts are concave, the tip is gradually pointed, and the two sides of the midrib are symmetrical. 3. FlowersThe flowers of Wenzhousu are orange-yellow with spots and deep purple-red veins. There are usually 6-12 flowers on one stem. |
