LeavesThe leaves of the toothed iris orchid are nearly basal, sword-shaped, sometimes slightly curved like a sickle, about 5-15 cm long and 1-1.5 cm wide, obtuse or acuminate at the apex, with a dry membranous margin on the inner side of the lower part and joints at the base. 2. FlowersThe scape of the toothed iris flower grows out from the middle of the leaf, is slightly flat or nearly cylindrical, and has multiple small sterile bracts below the inflorescence. The raceme is relatively long, about 7-18 cm. The bracts are nearly oblong-ovate with teeth on the edges, the pedicels are white-green, the middle sepals are broadly ovate with obtuse tips, and the lateral sepals are ovate and narrower than the middle sepals. The petals are nearly oval and yellow in color. |
