The difference between purple root orchid and amaryllis

1. Differences between bulbs

The color of the purple root orchid bulbs is mostly purple and looks relatively clear, including the leaves at the bottom. The color of Amaryllis bulbs is mostly earthy white. Even if there are purple ones, they are far less darker than the former and not very obvious.

2. The difference between flowers

The flowers of purple root orchid are relatively small, and there can be several or even more flowers on one flower stem. The flower color is relatively single, mostly orange-red. The flowering period starts in winter, and sometimes it may be delayed or withered. The flowers of Amaryllis are larger, and usually only one, but sometimes two, bloom on the flower stem. There are many varieties and colors. Flowering period is summer.
