The breeding methods and precautions of Hongyun Dangtou

The breeding methods and precautions of Hongyun Dangtou

1. Soil

The lucky charm plant needs to be grown in slightly acidic soil that is rich in humus, high in nutrient content, and has good drainage and air permeability. Generally speaking, you can directly buy special culture soil, but if you want to prepare it yourself, it is recommended to mix river leaf humus and river sand, and add a small amount of cake fertilizer or decomposed chicken manure.

2. Temperature

The best growing environment for the lucky charm plant is 15-22℃. If the temperature is too high, its tips may dry out. If the temperature is below 10℃, it may be frozen, causing the leaves to turn yellow and affecting its appearance.

3. Lighting

The lucky plant likes light very much. It is best to have more than 12 hours of light a day. Even in winter, try to ensure more than 4 hours of light, otherwise it will be difficult for it to grow normally.

4. Water

The lucky charm plant prefers a relatively humid growing environment, and the soil moisture is best at 70%-80%. Usually, you should pay attention to the dryness and wetness of the soil, and water it immediately once it starts to dry out.

5. Notes

1. Air humidity. In addition to soil moisture, air humidity also needs attention. It needs to be maintained at 50%-75%. If it is too low, you can spray some water mist on the head of the Hongyun Dangtou to increase the humidity.

2. Prevent diseases and pests. During the peak period of pests and diseases, you can spray it with highly diluted carbendazim and omethoate solution to help prevent the occurrence of pests and diseases.
