Cultivation methods and precautions of lucky bamboo

1. The habit of this plant

(1) First, it likes to grow in a warm environment. Specifically, the temperature range that suits it best is between eighteen and twenty-four degrees. If it stays within this range, it can grow all year long. It cannot tolerate low temperatures and will go dormant if the temperature drops below thirteen degrees. If the temperature is lower, its roots will absorb too little water, causing brown spots to appear on the tips and edges of the leaves. Therefore, in winter, the temperature must be above ten degrees.

(2) Also, it needs light and cannot be kept in excessive shade. However, too much light is also not good. If it is exposed to excessive sunlight, its leaves will turn yellow or its growth rate will slow down.

(3) Then there is fertilizer, which also has certain requirements at certain stages.

2. Specific methods

(1) Temperature: If it is grown in a relatively warm place, then there is basically no need to worry, as it can grow all year round. However, if you are at a high altitude or high latitude, you need to be careful, especially in winter. When the temperature starts to drop in late autumn, you must protect yourself from the cold.

(2) Light: It is best to place it in a place with diffuse light, not too shady, and not exposed to direct sunlight. In summer, if you feel the light is too strong, you should provide appropriate shade.

(3) Fertilizer: When the plant begins to take root, apply a small amount of compound fertilizer so that its leaves will be shiny. In addition, you can apply a small amount of nutrient solution every three weeks.

3. Notes

When applying fertilizer, do not apply too much or too concentrated. Otherwise, the leaves of the plant will become dull.
