1. Growth habitsThe orchid has high requirements for temperature and humidity. Too high or too low temperature will affect the normal growth of orchids. Generally speaking, an environment of fifteen to thirty degrees is most suitable for its growth. At the same time, the roots of orchids need care, and special sandy planting soil that is rich in nutrients and relatively loose should be prepared for them. In addition, it is required to contain more humus and keep the pH of the planting soil between 5.5 and 6.5. 2. Environmental AdjustmentThere are two main ways to cultivate the beautiful crown orchid, one is the orchid shed, the other is in pots. In the orchid shed, the temperature and light should be adjusted to the appropriate range according to the season. For example, when the temperature drops in winter, heating and light should be increased, while in summer, light should be reduced to prevent leaf burns. In February, the environmental humidity, temperature and light conditions should be improved to encourage the orchid to enter the growth period, but care should be taken to keep the temperature below 25 degrees at all times to prevent it from being damaged. When potting, be careful not to damage the orchid rhizomes and prevent the rhizomes from contacting the pot wall. After potting, it should be placed in an environment with suitable light conditions, temperature and humidity, and ventilation, and ensure sufficient watering for the first time. 3. Water and fertilizer managementIf you want to grow orchids well, you must also pay attention to the time and amount of watering and fertilizing. When watering, you should be careful to use clean, pollution-free, slightly acidic water. If the orchid roots, buds or leaves show signs of rot, black spots or other pathological conditions, it is mostly related to the water quality. Avoid watering at noon when the sun is strong and the temperature is high. It is recommended to use farmyard manure, dilute it with 10 to 20 times the amount of water, and then pour it along the edge of the pot. Do not let it touch the orchid leaves. However, pay attention to the soil's maturity period, more than one year is most suitable. If you apply chemical fertilizers, be sure to pay attention to the balance and strictly control the concentration. If it is a leaf seedling, in order to control the synthesis of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, you should avoid using nitrogen fertilizers and fertilizers containing manganese and magnesium. 4. PrecautionsThere are many diseases that can easily infect orchids, such as sheath rust, white rot, anthracnose and scale insects. If you encounter them, you should take appropriate measures in time and maintain appropriate environmental temperature and humidity to prevent further spread of diseases and pests and harm the orchid itself. |
