The common begonia blooms in July, and its color is pink. Individual flowers are not large, but rather very small, but there are many of them. The whole plant is very ornamental, especially when it is in full bloom, and the maintenance method is relatively simple, so it is loved by many people. Some cities also use it to decorate the environment, and when the flowers are in full bloom, it is also a beautiful landscape.

Other Begonia Flowering Periods

There are 4 varieties of Begonia, each with its own flowering period. Let’s take a look at them together.

Spiny Chinese Begonia: It grows at an altitude of 1,200 meters, the plant height is about 50 centimeters, the flowering period is March, and the fruiting period is April.

Chinese Begonia: This plant is between 20 cm and 40 cm tall and has almost no branches. It grows at altitudes between 300 and 2,900 meters. Its flowering and fruiting periods are the same as those of ordinary begonias, with both blooming in July and bearing fruit in August.

Single-winged Begonia: It grows at an altitude of 2,200 meters. Its flowering period is two months later than that of ordinary begonias, that is, it will bloom in September, so its fruiting period will also be delayed, also two months later than ordinary begonias, and it will bear fruit in October.

Full-column Begonia: The plant height is between 20 cm and 40 cm, with fewer branches. It grows at altitudes between 2200 meters and 2800 meters. The flowering period is from July to August, and the fruiting period is from September to October.
