Characteristics of Crystal Lotus

The appearance of the crystal lotus is very similar to that of the lotus, and its color is slightly transparent. It looks like crystal from a distance, hence the name crystal lotus. The crystal lotus likes a warm environment, but the crystal lotus does not like the sun. It likes to grow in a cool place. It is drought-resistant but not cold-resistant. Like other succulents, it should not be exposed to the sun. The most suitable growth temperature for the crystal lotus is between fifteen and twenty degrees Celsius. When cultivating the crystal lotus, pay attention to maintaining the air humidity.

Crystal lotus cultivation requirements for air humidity

Crystal lotus has very high requirements for air humidity during its growth process. Generally, the humidity of the growth environment of crystal lotus should be kept at about 60%. If the air is too dry, it must be watered. If watering is too frequent and you are worried about root rot, you can spray water into the air to maintain appropriate humidity in the air.

Crystal lotus cultivation requirements for light

Crystal lotus does not like too much stimulating sunlight. Even in the cold winter, crystal lotus does not like direct sunlight. It only needs about three to four hours of weak light a day. It needs to be shaded when the weather is hot in summer, especially at noon in summer. The stomata of the plant are closed when the sun is directly shining. Do not expose it to light for a long time, and do not water it at noon, so as to avoid the death of the succulent plants.

Soil requirements for crystal lotus growth

The soil requirement for the growth of crystal lotus is looseness and breathability. It is best to sterilize and disinfect it before planting the crystal lotus. Fertile soil is best.
