Introduction to common varieties of Gyokuro

Purple Skin Jade Dew

Purple-skinned Jade is actually a general term for succulent plants. If we break it down, it can be further divided into large purple-skinned Jade and small purple-skinned Jade. The biggest difference between the two is the size of the jade window. As the name suggests, the window surface of the large purple-skinned Jade is fleshier and thicker than that of the small purple-skinned Jade. Other places are exactly the same, and the color presents a noble purple. However, if it is exposed to the sun for a long time, the color of the purple jade will become a little black.

Large Window Jade Dew

The name "Large Window Jade" tells you that the window is very large. In fact, "Large Window Jade" is a hybrid variety. Its color is mostly nearly transparent green, which is very beautiful. However, because the window of "Large Window Jade" is too large, most of the time it grows more scattered. But whether viewed from near or far, it is very beautiful.

Ji Yulu

The most common jade dew on the market now is Ji Yu Lu, so when people buy jade dew, they usually buy Ji Yu Lu. Ji Yu Lu, like our own jade dew, has two types, large and small. The large Ji Yu Lu has a larger window, and the small Ji Yu Lu has a smaller window. It is worth noting that the color of Ji Yu Lu is bright green, not purple like purple jade dew.

Round-headed Gyokuro

The size of the window of the round-headed jade dew is similar to that of the large-window jade dew. The window of the round-headed jade dew is also very large. The only difference between it and the large-window jade dew is that the top of the round-headed jade dew is more rounded.

Ice Lantern Jade Dew

It looks like a bunch of ice-carved lanterns gathered together, which is very beautiful.
