How to use the seedling block correctly

How to use the seedling block correctly

Step 1

Expand the seedling blocks and place them in the seedling box, add appropriate amount of water, and use small amounts but frequent watering to keep the seedling blocks moist.

Step 2

Generally speaking, there is a groove in the middle of the seedling block. Place 1-3 seeds in the groove and spray water appropriately. Whether the seeds are planted deep or shallow depends on the type of flowers and plants.

Step 3

After sowing, cover the lid of the seedling box. After the seeds germinate, choose a suitable temperature for ventilation. You can open the lid earlier when the temperature is high in summer, and later in spring and winter. In addition, you should control the problem of excessive growth of flowers and plants, and pay attention to ventilation and light.

Step 4

Place the seedling blocks in a well-lit area to prevent penetration of non-soil parts, and separate the seedling blocks from each other to prevent root cross-linking. However, if the temperature is too high during seedling cultivation, it is better to put them together to prevent the seedlings from lacking water due to rapid water loss from the substrate.
