How to grow flame tree

Adhere to the principle of frequent and light fertilizer application. Generally, it can be fertilized 3-5 times a year. However, during the growth and development stage of the flame tree, appropriate fertilizer supplementation is needed to promote its growth, and the fertilizer selection is mainly compound fertilizer and organic fertilizer.

Common propagation methods for flame trees include cuttings, sowing and high pressure method, which are generally carried out in spring.

It should be noted that the flame tree needs higher temperatures to bloom. Due to the lower temperature in northern parts of South China, the flame tree does not bloom or blooms less.

In terms of watering, pay attention to replenishing water for young trees during high temperature and drought periods.

The tillage and weeding of the flame tree are mainly carried out in May and June, which is beneficial to promote the absorption of nutrients by the roots of the flame tree. The depth of tillage depends on the depth of the roots of the seedlings and the growth period.
