Farming methods

Soil preparation and pot selection

There is no need to say much about flower pots. Generally, ceramics are chosen because of their better drainage.

When choosing flower soil, choose looser soil, 1 part each of leaf mold, garden soil, and coarse sand, mix them, and add a small amount of other organic fertilizers as base fertilizer.

Watering and fertilizing

Purple snapdragon is sensitive to moisture. If you are a careless person, it is recommended that you do not harm the flesh. After transplanting the succulents into the pot, water them directly. Be sure to water them thoroughly. Wait until the soil in the pot is completely dry before watering them a second time. In the early stage of succulent growth, choose granular fertilizer, 5 to 10 granules will be enough.

Sunlight Temperature

Here comes the point: if you want your succulents to grow cute, sufficient sunlight and suitable temperature are the most important. The flower pots should be placed in a ventilated place to block the sunlight to a certain extent at noon.

The suitable growth temperature for purple snapdragon is between 18 and 30 degrees Celsius, so the best place to breed it is indoors. As long as the temperature is comfortable for humans, it will grow healthily. Keep it at home and it will grow with you.

Precautions

Watering

Purple Seal has a long growing period. It can be watered sufficiently in spring, summer and autumn, but water accumulation should be avoided. If the soil in the pot is difficult to water thoroughly, you can choose to use the immersion method: immerse the flowerpot in water and take it out after it is soaked.

temperature

The indoor temperature should not be lower than 5℃ in winter and 18~30℃ in summer. When maintaining it indoors, keep it away from air conditioning.

fertilizer

Fertilize every 7-10 days, not too frequently. Depending on the condition of the succulent, if it is dry and grows slowly, you can increase the fertilizer appropriately.
