Dandelion taboos, dandelion side effects

Dandelion taboos, dandelion side effects

1. Do not take excessive doses

Any good thing will have side effects if used in excess, and dandelion is no exception. Due to its cold nature, excessive dosage will cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, and in severe cases, diarrhea. If taken in large doses for a long time, it can also cause narrowing of the renal tubules, turbidity and swelling of the epithelial cells, etc.

2. Avoid taking if you are allergic to it

Taking dandelions is also harmful for people with allergies. If you feel uncomfortable after taking a small dose, you must stop immediately. The common allergic reaction is itching all over the body and urticaria. If this happens, you should not drink water soaked with it, otherwise there will be more serious consequences, such as anaphylactic shock and fainting.

3. Avoid those with cold body

Dandelion is a cold substance in nature. If the person who takes it has yang deficiency and external cold, it will do harm rather than good. It is not recommended for people with weak spleen and stomach to take it, otherwise it will affect digestion and absorption.

4. Avoid patients with low blood pressure

Dandelion itself contains polysaccharides, a substance that can lower blood pressure. Therefore, it is not suitable for patients with low blood pressure. Further lowering of blood pressure may also cause serious side effects, so it must be treated with caution.

5. Avoid patients with chronic enteritis

Patients with chronic enteritis cannot take it because they already have symptoms of diarrhea. After drinking water soaked with dandelions, this situation will not only not be curbed but will be aggravated, greatly affecting their ability to absorb nutrients. Doing this for a long time is not conducive to the body's recovery.
