Change the water to the same room temperature every two or three days, and then change the water once a week after the plants grow roots. The roots of hydroponic green radish should be cleaned and repaired regularly. If the roots are too long, they should be shortened in time to avoid nutrient loss. If the roots become rotten and sticky, they should be cleaned in time, the rotten roots should be cut off, and they should be soaked and disinfected in potassium permanganate solution before resuming maintenance. The first few days of resuming maintenance should be the same as when starting hydroponics, changing the water every two or three days, and then changing the water every ten days after the growth has fully recovered.

Potted seedlings should be cut off when they grow 30cm out of the cultivation column; when the foot leaves fall off by 30%-50%, they should be abandoned and replanted. Green column potted plants are ideal plants for courtyard doorposts and wall greening, and their leaves are also excellent for flower arrangement. Plant or directly propagate 4-5 plants in each pot, and set up a brown column in the middle of the pot to facilitate the hydroponic green radish to grow upward. Shaping pruning is done in spring. When the stems and vines have climbed all over the palm column and the tips extend about 20 cm beyond the palm column, cut off 40 cm of the stems and tips of 2-3 plants. When new buds and leaves sprout after pruning, cut off the stems and tips of the remaining plants.
