How to grow gardenia seedlings and how to care for them after planting

1. Semi-shade maintenance

Gardenia seedlings like to grow in a semi-shaded environment. They can be grown in a place with scattered light. They cannot be grown in a dark place without sunlight. They also cannot be exposed to strong light and need to be shielded from direct sunlight. Just after planting, place them in a cool place to slow down the growth. After the seedlings gradually grow strong, they can be exposed to sunlight normally.

2. Watering in moderation

After the gardenia seedlings are planted, they need an appropriate amount of watering to meet the seedlings' needs for water. Because the climate in each region is different and the growth conditions of the plants are different, it is impossible to determine how many days to water the plants. You can observe the condition of the soil to determine whether watering is needed. You can water the soil when it is slightly dry. Water it thoroughly at one time until water flows out from the bottom of the pot.

3. Reasonable fertilization

In order to ensure the growth of seedlings, it is also necessary to pay attention to reasonable fertilization. Sufficient base fertilizer should be applied before planting the seedlings. Then, during the rapid growth period, fertilizer can be applied every half a month. Fertilization can be carried out in conjunction with watering, which can facilitate the absorption of fertilizer.

4. Temperature control

The temperature also needs to be adjusted. It can be kept at 20-25℃. This range is conducive to growth and can also promote the rapid growth and development of gardenia seedlings.
