What to do if the leaves of Brazilian wood wilt

What to do if the leaves of Brazilian wood wilt

1. Adjust the moisture

Reason: Excessive watering for a long time will cause the soil in the pot to be too wet for a long time. The soil will lack oxygen, causing the roots to rot and hindering normal breathing, so the leaves will wilt. Forgetting to water for a long time will also affect absorption and cause the leaves to wilt.

Measures: The water content needs to be adjusted appropriately. Generally, water should be given according to the growth status. When too much water is applied, watering needs to be stopped in time to promote water evaporation. When there is a lack of water, add water gradually to replenish water.

2. Supplement fertilizer

Reason: If no fertilizer is applied for a long time, or if the pot and soil are not changed, the nutrients in the soil will be lost, making it difficult for the roots to absorb water and nutrients, and the plant will naturally wilt.

Measures: You can change the pot, fill it with new culture soil and provide new nutrients. Apply appropriate amount of dilute liquid fertilizer according to the growth status.

3. Adjust the soil quality

Reason: The rubber tree likes acidic soil. If it is maintained in the north and the soil is too alkaline for a long time, it will cause the branches and leaves to wilt.

Measures: When planting, use acidic soil. When the soil becomes alkaline, loosen the soil in time and add acidic substances.

4. Improve ventilation

Reason: When the indoor air is too dry, the leaves will wilt.

Measures: During maintenance, pay attention to spraying water on the leaves to create a certain humidity.
