What to do if the hydroponic Spathiphyllum does not bloom

1. Add some light

Although Spathiphyllum prefers a semi-shaded, diffuse light environment, if it is not exposed to sunlight for a long time, it is easy to grow poorly and become weak, resulting in the situation where it never blooms. You can supplement sunlight appropriately, especially before and after the flowering period. More exposure to light can promote the synthesis of nutrients and promote the blooming of flowers.

2. Adjust the temperature

It cannot withstand cold climates. If the surrounding temperature is low, the plant will be frostbitten, which will cause problems in its growth and make it even more difficult to bloom. To encourage it to bloom, keep the temperature at around 20-25 degrees Celsius. This temperature range allows for better growth and is also conducive to flowering. However, although it can withstand high temperatures, the temperature should not exceed 35 degrees Celsius, otherwise it will affect its growth.

3. Change water regularly

If the water is not changed for a long time and no nutrient solution is added, it will lack nutrients for its growth and will naturally find it difficult to bloom. The water quality needs to be changed regularly, usually once every 7 days, and once every 10-15 days in winter. Add nutrient solution when changing the water.

4. Increase humidity

Humidity must be maintained during its growth. If the air is too dry, it will not be conducive to flowering. You can spray water on the leaves regularly, which will not only prevent the leaves from drying out and increase their glossiness, but also promote the blooming of flowers.
