What should I do if the leaves of the fortune tree fall off when touched?

What should I do if the leaves of the fortune tree fall off when touched?

1. Change the lighting

Reason: When growing a money tree, you cannot keep it under strong light. The leaves will become very fragile after being sunburned, and may fall off. On the contrary, it is not good if the plant is always away from the sun, as it will not be able to carry out photosynthesis and will also lose its leaves.

Solution: If it is caused by exposure to strong sunlight, appropriate shading measures should be taken and the plant should be moved to a cool place for a period of time. If it is caused by lack of sunlight, get as much sun as possible.

2. Air circulation

Reason: The plant cannot grow in a hot and stuffy place for a long time. Such an environment will not only hinder its growth, but also cause its leaves to fall off.

Solution: The environment for maintaining the money tree needs to be well ventilated. If grown indoors, you can open the windows more often, or move it outdoors more often to let it breathe fresh air.

3. Pay attention to heat preservation

Reason: The temperature is too low in winter, which will hinder its growth. Once it is stimulated by low temperature, the leaves will fall off at the touch of a finger.

Solution: The temperature of the maintenance environment should be adjusted appropriately, and the minimum should be kept at around 10°C. Or you can wrap it in a plastic bag to keep it warm and wait for the plant to recover.
