How to take care of newly bought hibiscus

How to take care of newly bought hibiscus

1. Change the soil

The newly bought hibiscus is still in the potting period and is relatively fragile. If the soil is changed immediately, the plant may be easily injured. The hibiscus flower itself has very low requirements for soil, and the soil provided by the merchant is sufficient to support the normal growth of the hibiscus flower, so it is recommended that you do not need to change the soil. If you need to change it, you should wait until the potting period is over.

2. Lighting

After you buy hibiscus, don't place it in a place with particularly strong light, because the plant has not yet adapted to the environment. If the light is too strong, the leaves will easily be sunburned. You can first cultivate it in a ventilated and shaded place, and then let it receive sunlight after it has fully adapted to the environment.

3. Temperature

After you buy the hibiscus flower, you can control the temperature around it between 20-25℃, which is the most suitable temperature for the growth of hibiscus flowers. This will allow the hibiscus flower to better adapt to the environment and it will grow normally after a period of time.

4. Fertilization

When you just buy it, don't rush to fertilize the hibiscus, because the hibiscus has not yet adapted to the new environment. If you rashly fertilize it, it will not only fail to promote growth, but will damage the root system.
