What to do if aloe leaves are shriveled

What to do if aloe leaves are shriveled

1. Replace the soil

Reason: If the soil used when planting aloe vera is too compacted, the roots of the plant will not be able to grow normally, and the leaves will become poorly grown and shriveled.

Solution: It is necessary to replace the soil in time with loose soil with good drainage and air permeability, and loosen the soil appropriately during the maintenance process to keep the soil loose.

2. Increase watering

Reason: If you don't water the aloe vera for a long time, it will be in a state of water shortage. Without sufficient water in the leaves, it will become shriveled.

Solution: At this time, place the potted plant in a cool place, water it slightly and wait for the leaves to recover. When caring for it, you must give it sufficient water. The soil in the pot should not be too dry or cracked.

3. Proper shading

Reason: If the light in the maintenance environment is too strong, the leaves of the plant will lack water, especially in summer. If the light is not shaded in time, the leaves will easily shrivele.

Solution: When the light is strong, take shading measures, or place it in a cool place for a period of time. It must not be exposed to direct sunlight when the sun is strong in summer.

4. Supplement potassium fertilizer

Reason: During the maintenance process, if the plant is given too little potassium fertilizer, the lower part of its leaves will become shriveled and may even appear scorched.

Solution: You should apply more potassium fertilizer during the maintenance process to allow its leaves to resume normal growth. When applying fertilizer, apply it in small amounts and frequently.
