Why doesn't Milan bloom?

Why doesn't Milan bloom?

1. Change the soil

1. Reason: Milan likes acidic soil. If it is planted in unsuitable soil, it is likely to grow poorly and it will be difficult to bloom.

2. Solution: You can use some fertilizer to turn the alkaline soil into acidic, or just replace the soil. You can pay attention to this at ordinary times. If the color of the plant is not green but yellow, this may be because the soil is alkaline. At this time, you can water it with black alum water or diluted vinegar once every ten days. Also be careful when fertilizing and do not use alkaline fertilizers, otherwise the soil will become alkaline and the plant will have difficulty blooming.

2. Adjust the temperature

1. Reason: This kind of plant prefers a relatively high temperature environment, and special attention should be paid in winter because it will affect its flowering. In winter, if the temperature is lower than five degrees, it will die. If it is higher than twelve degrees, it will consume a lot of nutrients, and its subsequent growth will be affected, and flowering will naturally be affected as well.

2. Solution: In winter, the temperature needs to be adjusted to between five and twelve degrees, and relatively high temperature growing conditions should be provided at normal times.

3. Reasonable fertilization

1. Reason: Nitrogen fertilizer plays an important role in the growth of plant leaves, but if too much nitrogen fertilizer is applied, there will be more leaves and the flowers will not bloom. This is mainly because nitrogen fertilizer causes all its nutrients to be concentrated on the leaves, making it difficult for flowers to grow.

2. Solution: When the flowering period is approaching, reduce the use of nitrogen fertilizer and increase the use of phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer.

4. Supplementary lighting

1.Reason: Under the sunlight, it can accumulate a lot of nutrients. Only with a lot of nutrients can it produce flowers. However, if it is in a dark place, there will not be enough nutrients, and flowering will be affected.

2. Solution: Place it in a lighted place, but not in a place with too much light. Be sure to avoid excessive exposure to the sun, otherwise the plant will die before it blooms.
