What to do if the trunk of the rich tree droops

What to do if the trunk of the rich tree droops

1. Too much watering

The Chinese rich tree has a great preference for moist and ventilated places, but the soil in the pot cannot be too wet, as this will have adverse consequences. Once the roots are deprived of oxygen, parts of them begin to rot and the tree cannot breathe, further affecting its absorption. This situation usually causes its leaves to gradually turn from green to yellow, and the branches to droop day by day. Do not apply fertilizer for the time being, loosen the soil and allow the roots to breathe. Water thoroughly each time, and then wait until the soil is completely dry before watering again. Do not allow water to accumulate in the planting pot.

2. Too dry and dehydrated

If the fortune tree does not have sufficient water, its branches will droop. This situation usually shows aging from the lower right to the upper right, with the branches becoming listless from bottom to top, and the surface being dull and without light. If this kind of drooping due to drought occurs, you can water it in time and spray the surrounding leaves. When watering, don’t just look at the topsoil, you need to water it thoroughly.

3. Lack of fertilizer

If the Fortune Tree has not been fertilized, repotted or re-soiled for a long time, the nutrients in the soil, such as nitrogen, will gradually decrease, causing the Fortune Tree to lack nutrients and its branches and leaves to become thin and drooping. At this time, you need to replace the loosened nutrient soil or water it with compound fertilizer. This can restore the normal supply of nutrients in the soil that was originally thin on nutrients, and gradually restore its vitality.

4. Excessive fertilization

Once the leaves show signs of becoming larger and thicker, and become weak and droopy, it means that the tree is experiencing an excess of nutrients. At this time, you should stop fertilizing immediately and water the plant sufficiently to dilute the excess fertilizer; or change the pot immediately and wash the original soil with water to dilute it.

5. The temperature is too high

If the tree is exposed to the scorching sun or strong light directly hits it, it is likely to cause the leaves to wilt and the branches to droop. At this time, please place the potted plants in a cool and ventilated place in time.

6. Excessive Shading

If the fortune tree is kept in a dimly lit place for a long time, its branches will droop and its leaves will turn yellow. Therefore, if you move it to a place with light and ventilation regularly, the adverse situation can be improved.
