What to do if the roots of bear's paw are rotten

What to do if the roots of bear's paw are rotten

1. Reduce watering

Reason: If you water too much, the Bear's Paw cannot absorb it and water will accumulate. Once water accumulates, it will not only cause yellow leaves but also cause root rot.

Solution: Reduce the amount of watering appropriately, and don't water too frequently. Wait until it has almost absorbed all the water before watering. Also, control the amount of watering during its dormancy period. If the temperature exceeds 30℃, it will stop growing. Avoid watering with large amounts of water. If you water too much, you can place it in a ventilated place.

2. Replace the soil

Reason: If the soil has poor drainage, once there is water accumulation, it will cause root rot, which will not only affect the normal growth of the bear's paw, but may even cause death.

Solution: Replace the soil with one that has good drainage as soon as possible. It is also best to replace the flowerpot with one with holes to allow the accumulated water to flow out more quickly. Place it indoors or shelter it from the rain during the rainy season, and drain the water in time after the rain stops.

3. Reasonable fertilization

Reason: Large amounts of fertilizer will cause fertilizer damage and lead to root rot, which will seriously affect the growth of Bear's Paw. In addition, large amounts of fertilizer will cause the stem nodes to become longer, which will reduce the ornamental value.

Solution: Reduce the amount of fertilizer appropriately, and do not apply fertilizer too frequently. It is enough to apply fertilizer once a month. You can apply special fertilizer to it.
