Planting and precautions for pansy

1. Planting time

If you want to plant pansies, it is recommended to plant them in spring or autumn. Because the climate during these two periods is relatively warm, the seeds sown are easier to germinate.

2. Planting Method

1. Select seeds: When planting pansies, be sure to choose healthy and plump seeds. Do not use seeds that are damaged or have worm holes, because these seeds are of poor quality and are not easy to germinate.

2. Prepare the soil: When sowing pansies, be sure to use sufficiently loose soil. Some sandy soil is best. Never use heavy clay soil, because the internal gaps of this kind of soil are small and the seeds are not easy to germinate in it. Before planting, you need to spread the selected soil flat under the sun and let it be exposed to the sun to disinfect it.

3. Sowing: First put the sterilized soil into the seedling container, then sprinkle the selected seeds gently and evenly on the soil surface and cover with a thin layer of soil.

4. Post-maintenance: After sowing the seeds, the seedling container needs to be placed in an environment of 18-21℃. In addition, remember to spray water on the soil surface in time to keep the soil at a certain humidity. Because such an environment is more conducive to its germination. With such care, it will generally germinate in about a week.
