What is the reason why aloe vera does not adapt after repotting?

What is the reason why aloe vera does not adapt after repotting?

1. Root damage

Reason: Be careful when repotting aloe vera. If you accidentally damage the root system, it will be difficult for the plant to adapt to the pot for a while. It may also be that the roots are pruned too heavily, making it difficult for the plant to adapt to growth.

Solution: Be as careful as possible during the repotting process to avoid damaging the root system. If the roots are accidentally damaged, do not rush to plant them in pots. Wait until the roots are well grown before planting them in pots.

2. Incorrect temperature

Reason: If you choose to repot in midsummer or winter, the aloe vera will inevitably not adapt after the repot, causing it to wilt and grow poorly.

Solution: Try to repot in spring or autumn when the temperature is more suitable. Avoid strong sunlight at noon when repotting in summer, and keep warm in winter.

3. Improper watering

Reason: You don’t need to water the plants immediately after repotting. You need to allow the seedlings to grow for a while first. At this time, the roots have not yet expanded and adapted. If you accidentally water them too much, it may cause root rot. Too much watering can also have an impact. If you don't water the plant for a long time after repotting, the soil in the pot will be very dry, which will make the plant unable to adapt.

Solution: Do not water immediately after repotting. Wait for a while and then give appropriate amount of water when the soil is dry.

4. Unsuitable soil

Reason: Choosing inappropriate soil can also cause aloe vera to become unadaptable.

Solution: Provide loose, breathable, nutritious sandy soil.
