How to make the green radish take root quickly through cuttings and how to change the pot

1. Cutting method

1. Time selection: The time for cuttings of green radish is very important. It will take root faster in late spring and early summer. It is not recommended to do this when the temperature is high or low.

2. Selection of flower soil: Use flower soil suitable for its growth. It likes clean soil with good air permeability, so the soil must be breathable and disinfected before use. Otherwise, if the soil is too heavy, it will directly affect the rooting speed of the cuttings.

3. Branch selection: The stronger and better growing the branch is, the faster it will take root. So if you want to cut high-quality branches, the length should be about 13cm. The extra leaves should be cut off, leaving only about 1-2 leaves on the upper part. Moreover, the cuttings should be soaked in rooting water before grafting, which will also help them take root.

4. Cutting techniques: Do not damage the branches when cutting. Sometimes if you use too much force when inserting them into the soil, it will cause damage and affect its rooting. Just insert the branches into the soil to half the depth, not too deep. Finally, provide shade and add a little water.

2. Repotting Method

First, prepare a flowerpot that is larger than the original pot, then take the plant out of the old pot. Loosen the soil before removing it from the pot, but remember not to damage the roots. After removing the plant from the pot, remove the soil stuck to the roots, then simply comb the root system and cut off the rotten, withered and entangled roots. Finally, after disinfection and drying, put it in a pot, water it thoroughly, and place it in a cool place to wait for it to grow.
