How to grow coriander, how many days does it take for the seeds to germinate

1. Seed selection and processing

Its varieties can be divided into large and small grains, among which the large grains have a lighter taste, while the small grains have a stronger aroma. Therefore, it is recommended to choose small grains when planting. And choose those with full and healthy grains. After selecting, soak the seeds in clean water for 24 hours, which will help them germinate faster.

2. Deep plowing of the soil

Although it has no requirements for the soil, it is best to process it before planting. First, deep plowing, and then spreading an appropriate amount of farmyard manure. This will make the soil loose and nutrient-rich, which will be more conducive to the later growth of coriander and the quality will be higher.

3. Evenly spread

After the land is prepared, you can spread the selected seeds on it, and try to ensure that they are spread evenly. After spreading, cover it with a thin layer of soil to keep it moist and warm. As long as the temperature is suitable, it will sprout in about a week.

4. Time Seedling

After the seedlings grow out, they still need to be processed. Make sure the distance between two seedlings is more than one centimeter and not too close, otherwise it will affect their growth. Note that you don't need to pick the seedlings too early. Wait until the seedlings are a little bigger before processing them. This way, the seedlings can be eaten directly and will not be wasted.

5. Post-management

Fertilizer can be applied in time after seedlings appear. Nitrogen fertilizer can be chosen. It is recommended to do it at the same time as watering. This not only replenishes nutrients, but also replenishes water, and the fertilizer will be absorbed faster, which is conducive to growth. In addition, you should observe the land more often and remove weeds in time if you find any, otherwise they will hinder growth.
