Growing techniques for morels (timing and management methods)

Growing techniques for morels (timing and management methods)

1. Planting time

When planting morels, you can choose around October to December, and the temperature should be maintained at around 15-18℃, which is a more suitable temperature for its growth. If the temperature is too low or too high, it will stop growing.

2. Planting Technology

1. Before planting, you need to prepare suitable planting materials, which are usually based on straw, sawdust, and bran. You can also add some phosphate fertilizers, humus and other ingredients for preparation.

2. After preparing the cultivation material, add water and stir it. Ferment it for about 20 days, put it into a plastic bag, and then put it under high temperature for sterilization. Next, you can inoculate the mycelium using the two-end inoculation method. After inoculation, place it in the culture room for a month and cultivate it after it fills the bag.

3. Build a suitable growth environment for it. After disinfection, lay a layer of film, then cover it with a layer of soil and flatten it. Remove the plastic bag of the mushroom stick and place it flat on the bed. Finally, spray it with some water and cover it with soil, and the fruiting body will grow out in about a month.

3. Management methods

Pay attention to the intensity of light at normal times, especially during the growth process of the fruiting body, and provide it with scattered light. And pay attention to ventilation, but do not be blown directly by strong winds. When weeds grow, they must be removed in time.
