Peonies can be propagated by cuttings in spring, but this is not the most suitable time. 2. Cutting method

1. Substrate: Prepare relatively breathable soil in advance, and it should be as loose as possible. Neutral soil is best. In addition, the drainage performance should be stronger to avoid water accumulation. Before cuttings, disinfect with potassium permanganate.

2. Pruning: Select branches from the peony plants and cut them. They should be in good growth condition and not too long. The best length is about 10 cm. Keep the top leaves and cut off the bottom leaves.

3. Cuttings: Insert the cut branches into the soil about 2 nodes. If there are many cuttings, there should be a certain distance between each branch. After the cuttings are completed, water them immediately, and not only water them but also make sure the soil is thoroughly watered.
