Different appearance

Although they are somewhat similar, a closer look will reveal their differences. Have you noticed that the leaves of the Chiva are oval or spade-shaped, while the leaves of the second plant are ovate or obovate; moreover, the corolla of the first species is cylindrical, while the corolla of the latter is a bit like an urn; in addition, the stem length of the first species is generally less than five centimeters, while the stem of the second species is less than eight centimeters. Of course, these differences are subtle and not easy to see.

Secondly, it is also worth mentioning that the top of the leaves of Chiva Lotus has a hard and short tip, while Corolla does not have this feature.

Another thing that is easy to see is that the tips of the Chihuahua leaves are light red, and the red on the edges of the leaves is also lighter. Corolla is different, the red on the edges of its leaves is very strong.

Of course, another point is that there is an obvious ridge in the middle of the Corolla's leaves, and it is protruding.

Although they look somewhat similar, their popularity is different. It can be said that for various reasons, Chivalry is more popular than Corolla. Of course they are all cute, but they have different levels of rarity.

They were not originally grown in China, but were introduced into our country. Although they are both native to Mexico, they belong to different continents. Specifically, the first plant belongs to the state of Chihuahua, and the second to the state of Jalisco.

Different reproduction methods

The main method of propagation for the first type of succulent is leaf cuttings, while the second type of plant may be more likely to be propagated by collecting seeds first and then sowing them.
