Why do the leaves of green radish turn yellow?

Why do the leaves of green radish turn yellow?

1. No nutrients

Reason: To care for the green radish, proper fertilization is actually necessary, but if you always forget to fertilize or apply too little fertilizer, the plant will grow very weak and the leaves will turn yellow.

Solution: If you want its leaves to recover, you need to apply some fertilizer appropriately, usually replenishing nutrients once every 15 days or so. The concentration of fertilizer should not be too high, just use low-concentration mature fertilizer.

2. Long-term water shortage

Reason: It is not watered for a long time during the breeding period. If the soil is too dry, it will grow in a state of water shortage, and the leaves will become withered and yellow, and almost all of them are old leaves.

Solution: Water it in time and give it enough water, but there should not be too much water in the potting soil. When watering, water it thoroughly and try to keep the soil slightly moist.

3. Root rot

Reason: If there is water accumulation in the soil for a long time, its roots will easily be infected with root rot. If the soil becomes very compacted and airtight, it will also cause root rot, which will cause yellow leaves.

Solution: Its roots should be taken out of the soil and all rotten roots should be cut off. After root pruning, it is best to disinfect with carbendazim or potassium permanganate, and then replace the soil with new one for cultivation.
