What kind of soil is suitable for growing green radish?

What kind of soil is suitable for growing green radish?

1. Soil requirements

The requirements for the soil used for green ivy are not high, because it has strong growth ability, as long as the soil has good air permeability and drainage. It requires lower nutrients in the soil, but as long as there is some fertility, it can grow very healthily. However, if there is less fertilizer, the plant may grow relatively weak.

Usually, you can mix leaf mold and peat soil for home cultivation. If you are worried that the growing soil does not have good drainage, you can add an appropriate amount of perlite to it to prevent root rot due to waterlogging. If you want it to grow more vigorously, you can add an appropriate amount of manure or fully decomposed organic fertilizer. Do not use soil that is too sticky. Not only is such soil not breathable, it can also easily become compacted. The roots of the plant cannot breathe normally, and the leaves can easily turn yellow.

2. Precautions

1. Pay attention to the acidity and alkalinity of the soil. Try to use slightly acidic soil. Alkaline soil or neutral soil is not conducive to its growth.

2. If you are worried that the soil you prepare is not good, you can go directly to the market to buy special soil. This kind of soil not only has good drainage performance, but also has sufficient nutrients, which is more helpful for the growth of green ivy.
