How to grow Edo purple

1. Breeding conditions

1. Soil: Edo purple does not have high requirements for soil maintenance, as long as it has good drainage and high air permeability. When choosing planting soil, you can mix garden soil with humus soil. If the drainage performance is too poor, you can add some expanded clay to the soil.

2. Light: Sufficient light can help the plant metabolism. If the light time is insufficient, the plant may grow too tall. During its growing season, it needs five hours of sunlight a day. During the non-growing season, three hours of light exposure is sufficient.

3. Watering: Succulent plants are drought-resistant, so they do not require excessive watering during the maintenance process, as long as the soil is not dry and cracked. When the temperature is high, water it once every two days; when the temperature is low, water it once a week.

4. Fertilization: It is tolerant to barrenness, so it does not require too much nutrients during its growth. Generally speaking, it is sufficient to use decomposed fertilizer once a month.

2. Pest and disease control

Succulents are more susceptible to pests, so you need to pay more attention when caring for them. If you find bugs in the soil, pull them out, disinfect them, and replant them in new soil. If the branches and leaves are infected with pests, you need to use a special insecticide for succulents to kill the insects.
