How to grow crab claw flower

How to grow crab claw flower

1. Breeding temperature

During the cultivation of crab claw flowers, the temperature should be kept at around 25℃, the maximum should not be higher than 30℃, and the minimum should not be lower than 10℃. The suitable temperature is different at different growth stages. During the flowering period, the temperature should be maintained at 10-15℃ as much as possible to help it bloom better.

2. Change the pot regularly

Generally speaking, the pots need to be changed regularly during the breeding period, preferably once every two years, and the best time to change the pots is in spring from March to April. When repotting, cut back weak branches and replace the soil with loose, slightly acidic nutrient soil.

3. Watering method

When watering it, you must water it thoroughly to keep the soil moist. If the cultivating soil is too wet, it will cause root rot. Especially on rainy days, you should water in small amounts to ensure sufficient water during the growing period. When the temperature is high and the climate is dry, spray the plants with water appropriately.

4. Light intensity

It needs appropriate exposure to sunlight at normal times, but it cannot be exposed to direct sunlight of too high intensity, especially the summer light, which should be properly shielded. When the sun is strong at noon, try to keep it in the shade.
